OVERVIEW

Connection Church is located in the Tampa Bay area, specifically living and breathing in Citrus Park. The vision for the Connection Church brand from the very inception was always in the name — connection itself. The objective was to connect people to their brand identity and even more so to their core beliefs and ideals.

CHALLENGE

The initial obstacle for Connection was launching a new church geared toward the 20 and 30-somethings without having any prior knowledge of the area or it’s population breakdowns. Connection Church approached us to create a brand that transcended the typical aesthetic of a religious organization while still championing faith-driven ideals in a statistically un-churched Metropolitan area. This project needed to yield a large push in traditional marketing as the first leg into the community. From there,  an informative web site,  collateral material and directional signage within their physical space.

SOLUTION

After several months of strategic planning, we built the Connection brand primarily based on the results of our city-wide finds. After learning that people greatly desired to attend a relevant, family-friendly church, we implemented the every-day ‘household’ concept of an electrical plug which could both reflect not only the literal name but the vision of the organization itself. The Connection Church brand is a creative, sustainable interpretation of their timeless mission to connect people to faith. We gave them a face that is enough future-proof and iconic to carry this out.
