OVERVIEW

Third Option Men is a daily blog written exclusively for men. Carried by an eclectic group of authors, T.O.M.’s posts discuss life, faith and culture with admirable transparency. Begun as one singular group, the T.O.M. gospel has gained interest from other men’s groups around the country looking to fall under the brand’s growing umbrella.

CHALLENGE

Third Option Men’s most basic goal from the very beginning was to produce meaningful content for its readers. Although the subject matter of T.O.M.’s posts are masculine as its readers would expect, we wanted to create an identity and interactive environment neutral enough to blend in with any treatment. Siting no absolute for “manliness,” T.O.M. wanted to represent men across the board in as many instances as possible.

SOLUTION

The over-arching vision for the blog is participation both virtually and physically across different small group settings in the Sarasota area. For traditional media, we designed cards with a unique directive for word-of-mouth growth. Digitally, we used targeted advertisements with the help of platforms like Facebook and Twitter to inform and recruit men right from their computer chairs. Since the creation of ThirdOptionMen.org, we’ve also helped them design and launch an eBook with all the proper trimmings: website, social media push and other marketing efforts.
